Received my part today and wanted to let you know it worked great…with a little DIY. I know that on your site it says that this part will not work on the pre-2008 Carefree Freedom III, but I thought it looked like it might and took a $85 risk. I was able to engineer it to fit with not a lot of effort and am attaching a pic to show the old/new part in place. I documented the entire process (took about an hour) and will be making a short tutorial video to explain the process. Thought you might be interested since you may be able to sell a few more of these parts if folks had some simple instructions. Certainly you would add a disclaimer to the effect that you are not responsible if the process does not work. But, seriously, I did not have to change the new part at all, but simply created new a new hole on the plastic housing to line up the bolt pattern.
