KT Lock Slide Bolt Spring
Compatibility: 1970 - 1977 Airstream
The slide bolt spring pushes the slide bolt out to keep the bolt engaged, which keeps the door from just swinging open. As with all springs, the slide bolt spring on the Airstream Main Door KT lock can lose it's spring with age and use and will need to be replaced eventually. The installation is fairly simple. You can see the spring's location in the photo above.
