Bought RV with this range hood. First year light switch snapped off inside....year two, fan is making awful sounds. Now we have to
Decide to replace w better product or order new switch....

Thought it was a "plug + play" type switch. Was entire harness. Which, I guess, is good. Only problem
I encountered, was terminating wiring at quick disconnect behind range hood. Range hood ends at 3 prong
plug, had no pin pushers to remove pins from plug. Had to splice two wires to original pins with
environmental splices. Fortunately, being in the aircraft business, I had splices available - another
customer may not have said splices available. Then, he would risk destroying the only quick dis-connect
in order to attempt re-pinning cannon plug. Also note, you will be removing entire range hood assembly
in-order to re-wire it. Four screws, and it'll pull away to access electrical connector disconnect.
Working on the dining room table is far easier than working inverted. Remember to bring some zip ties for
securing harness to hood, also not supplied. Aside from these minor difficulties, new switches work well.
