This skylight has a larger size compere to original 14 x 24. It can not be used as a direct replacement, only as a new installation. Aluminum housing must be removed from your Airstream roof prior to installation.
Dome Dimensions: 22" x 14" x 4"
Flange Dimensions: 26" x 18"
Plastic Garnish is available for this skylight Part # 220335
Note: old operators can not be used with this replacement skylight.
Installation:
1. Remove original aluminum housing from the roof
2. Clean Airstream roof from old sealant.
3. Build spacer box in roof opening between exterior and interior panels. Any material can be used: wood, aluminum c-channel.
4. Use new sealant and attach new skylight directly to roof surface with rivets or screws.
4. Use additional sealer to cover all fasteners and entire flange after skylight installed.
4. Use garnish to finish from the inside of your coach. p/n # 220335
